Job Description

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The F&B Manager is responsible for the end-to-end performance, coordination, and continuous improvement of all food and beverage operations. The role exists to ensure that guest experience, revenue optimisation, cost control, staff discipline, and brand standards are consistently delivered in line with premium positioning.

The F&B Manager is expected to be hands-on, data-driven, and execution-focused, translating strategy into daily operational excellence.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage all food and beverage operations and ensuring high standards of food and

beverage quality, presentation, and service.

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

• Build a high-performance team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising

talented personnel, to deliver quality products and exceptional guest experience.

• Create and maintain menus that reflect culinary trends and seasonality, meet guest preferences and drive sales.

• Oversee inventory management, sourcing and stock control to minimize waste, streamline costs, optimise quality and maximize profitability.

• Prepare operational and performance reports and work closely with management to drive overall business efficiency and continuous improvement.

• Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure compliance with

regulations and industry standards.

• Handle guest feedback and complaints promptly, professionally, and decisively.

• Enforce an overall culture of excellence, professionalism and compliance.

• Support management in general operations/administration and perform other

professional duties as assigned by hierarchy.



Key Requirements:

  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • • A degree or diploma in hospitality management or related field.
  • Professional certifications in food safety or hospitality operations are an advantage.
  • • Proven experience and track record of success in a similar role. Exposure to premium
  • or high-volume hospitality environments is highly desirable.
  • • In-depth knowledge of F&B menu items, including wine, spirits, and cocktails.
  • • Working knowledge of relevant software (MS Office, MS 365, restaurant management
  • software, POS).
  • • Fundamental business and financial acumen.
  • • Flexibility in work schedule, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
  • • Passion for the hospitality industry and crafting enriching experiences for customers.
  • REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
  • • High integrity and zero tolerance for leakages or malpractice.
  • • Leadership – Strong leadership presence with the ability to command respect and
  • ensure high performance and motivation.

  • staff, guests and stakeholders.
  • • Organizational skills – proficiency in planning, budgeting, scheduling, coordination,
  • monitoring and operational reporting.
  • • Team management – expertise in training and developing staff, performance
  • management, and effective rostering.
  • • Ability to interpret numbers, make data-driven decisions and solve problems
  • methodically.
  • • Self-starter, hands-on, disciplined, detail and execution oriented.
  • • Proactive, accountable, and solutions driven.
  • • Bilingual – English and French.
