Recruitment Terms & Conditions

These Recruitment Terms & Conditions govern the engagement between Dicalo Consulting Group and its clients for recruitment services.

1. Candidate Information Submission

The CV and information of shortlisted candidates are provided via EMAIL for accessibility and record purposes.

2. Recruitment Fee & Scope of Work

The recruitment fee shall be 10% of the candidate's total annual gross salary. This fee covers the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and shortlisting suitable candidates, as well as coordination throughout the hiring process. Provision of shortlisted candidates is within 5 working days.

Our scope of work for outsourced recruitment includes:

  1. Candidate Identification and Assessment
    The Agency shall identify, interview and evaluate potential candidates for the relevant role(s), assessing business, technical and cultural fit in accordance with:
    1. the applicable job description; and
    2. the instructions provided by Premier Invest line management.
  2. Candidate Pre-Selection and Documentation
    The Agency shall shortlist candidates assessed as a potential good fit for the role and shall procure and review curriculum vitae and other relevant candidate information.
  3. Shortlisting and Client Approval
    The Agency shall submit a shortlist of potential candidates to Premier Invest for review and approval. No candidate shall be treated as a job applicant, nor progressed to interview, unless and until Premier Invest line management has approved the shortlist and agreed to proceed with interviews.
  4. Interview Coordination and Process Support
    Upon approval of the shortlist, the Agency shall assist Premier Invest in organising, coordinating and facilitating the interview process with shortlisted candidates, ensuring a structured and well-coordinated approach.
  5. Offer Management and Negotiation Support
    The Agency shall support Premier Invest during the offer stage, including:
    1. assisting with offer negotiations;
    2. addressing and managing candidate queries or concerns; and
    3. facilitating communications relating to the offer process.
  6. Compensation and Relocation Assessment
    The Agency shall assess the reasonableness of shortlisted candidates' compensation expectations and, where applicable, evaluate anticipated relocation costs.

3. Shortlisted Candidates Quantity

The number of provided shortlisted candidates is a minimum of 3 persons and a maximum of 5 per role.

4. Client Responsiveness

Kindly ensure to respond to phone calls or emails for directions and/or inquiries on the meeting date with the candidate to confirm the shortlisted candidate's attendance. The Agency will not be held liable for the absence of a candidate due to the unavailability or refusal of the Client to respond to phone calls or inquiries on the meeting date.

5. Meeting Cancellation Notice

Upon unavailability to meet with the shortlisted candidate after a scheduled meeting, the Client must provide at least 24 hours prior notice of absence to the Agency.

6. Additional Candidates

If the client expresses dissatisfaction with the initially shortlisted candidates, the Recruitment Team is tasked with promptly identifying and presenting additional candidates within a 5-working-day timeframe. It is crucial to ascertain the specific requirements and preferences of the client during this process.

7. Direct Engagement & Liability

Clients agree not to directly engage with or contact any candidate presented by the Agency without the Agency's prior written consent. The Agency will not be held liable for any misbehavior, misconduct, or occurrence arising from a candidate contacted, engaged, or hired by the Client without the knowledge and approval of the Agency. Furthermore, where the Agency has approved or recommended a candidate, the Client agrees that the Agency shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or consequence arising from the candidate's employment.

8. Job Offer Changes

Any changes made to the job offer during the employment process must be discussed and agreed upon with the candidate before effecting it.

9. Candidate Availability Period

The Agency shall maintain shortlisted candidates for a maximum period of one (1) week for Client interviews. If a shortlisted candidate is unavailable within this period, a replacement will be provided.

10. Replacement Period & Feedback

We advise prompt feedback on underperformance during the replacement period (90 days from resumption), and this is to enable us to manage or replace the Staff when necessary. Following the successful completion of the candidate's first month at the client's organization, we will reach out via mail to confirm the client's satisfaction, and that there is no need for replacement.

11. Recruitment Process Timeline

The advertisement, interviews and screening processes are according to the information disclosed at the discovery stage by the Client; changes made to the job brief or specifications during the meeting with the candidate may elongate the recruitment period.

12. Fee Payment Terms

Fees are due and payable in 5 working days only after successfully placing the candidate with the client.
